+++ Coordinating Fabric for the bands
(I was able to use 1/4m of my main fabric for this pattern)
Step 1: Print pattern and cut out the fabric.
When printing the pattern please ensure you are printing at the scale of 100% to ensure your pattern will be printed properly.
I decided to cut the leg bands wider than suggested on the pattern to provide more coverage.
Step 2: If using directional fabric, I suggest cutting the back and front piece separately (add 3/8" at the bottom of each) and then sew together.

Step 3: Sew lining onto underwear, I use a blind hem presser foot, and adjust my needle furthest to the left.

Option 1 Step 4: If you would like to add the leg bands now as a simpler way to complete, fold band fabric in half with the right side of the fabric showing; place the band on top stretch (pin if preferred) and serger or sew with a zigzag or stretch stitch. Repeat for the other leg.

Option 1 Step 5: Sew the front & back together I prefer to start at the leg bands to ensure they do not shift while sewing. Followed by top stitching where the leg bands seam is as pictured.

Option 2 Step 4: Fold band pieces in half lengthwise and sew/serge.

....fold in half

Option 2 Step 5: Sew front and back pieces together at side seams, and right sides together pin the leg bands raw sides together. Stretch and Serge/Sew. ( I prefer to place the seam of the leg bands towards the back when adding the bands this way.)

Step 6: If you have not sewn the waistband together and fold, do so now. Pin and stretch serger/sew (with the seam at the middle of the back piece)

Step 7: Tie of serger ends, and clip thread, iron and COMPLETE!
