The Swing Top PDF Pattern - Merchant & Mills

$18.00 CAD

The Swing Top is a loose fitting top with dropped shoulders, a Henley neck and button placket. It also features a shirt tail front and cropped back, gathered into the back yoke. We have paired it with 101 trousers in the picture, but it also pairs beautifully with our Eve trousers or Heroine jeans because of the high waist.

This is a style that used to be available in our RTW collection 3 years ago, and we’ve made it a pattern as so many of you wanted to make your own!

Please note the sizing is different to normal, it is grouped into XS (6), S (8 – 10), M (12 – 14), L (16 -18).

In this PDF file you receive a copy shop file, tiled file, and A4 + A3 instructions.

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.

PDF sales are final sale & non-refundable.

Skill level – intermediate.

We would suggest using the following fabrics – lighter weight woven fabrics, linen and linen blends, cotton chambray, Indian handweaves and block prints, tencel and tencel blends. The more structured the fabric the more sculptural your top will look.

The linens pictured are Goodnight 185 and Milk 185. Eve wears a size small.

You will need:

1 x Matching thread
4 x Shirt buttons
