Where Our Textiles Are Grown and Made
Have you ever wondered where our beautiful textiles originate? Let's take you on a journey through the sources of our high-quality fabrics.
Most of our textiles fall under the category of internationally sourced materials. The only exceptions are specific items that proudly carry labels such as "made in USA", "made in Canada", "made in Turkey", "European Import", or "Grown & Made in the USA". For these products, we ensure that they are grown and processed in their respective countries.
Here’s a closer look at the origins of our key textiles:
Organic Cotton: Our organic cotton is grown in the rich soils of Turkey. After harvesting, it is exported to China for spinning into yarn, knitting into fabric, and dyeing. Finally, the finished textiles make their way back to Canada.
Hemp: Sourced from the northern regions of China, our hemp is cultivated, and all processes including fiber extraction, yarn spinning, fabric knitting, and dyeing are conducted right there in China. Once completed, these textiles are imported into Canada.
Bamboo: Similar to hemp, our bamboo textiles are also grown in southern China. Each step of the production process, from transforming raw bamboo into fibers to yarn spinning, knitting, and dyeing, occurs in China before these products return to Canada.
Lyocell: Our lyocell fibers originate in Taiwan. The process involves exporting these fibers to China where they are spun into yarn, knitted into fabric, and dyed. Ultimately, the finished lyocell textiles are shipped to Canada.
